Holy Week
Holy Week and the Vigil: Stop teaching. Go to things.
Session A · the reading
About 55 minutes. Open and read aloud before any framing: no introduction, no “today we’re looking at”. Scripture first, then the Father.
- The Exsultet, read at the table early in the week
Session B · the argument
About 35 minutes, on another day. Never both in one sitting.
Go to things. Holy Thursday (Exodus 12 is its first reading), Good Friday (Isaiah 53), and the Vigil on Saturday 27 March 2027.
Books this week
Optional: one piece of media
None this week. Go to things.
Say nothing on Holy Thursday when the child recognizes Exodus 12, and nothing at the Vigil. You do nothing that night. That was the point of building it this way.
