Areas of practice
How I can help
My practice is devoted entirely to canon law. I represent individuals, clergy and religious before Church tribunals and authorities, and I advise the dioceses and institutes responsible for those processes.
Marriage nullity
Advice before you file, help drafting your petition and testimony, preparing witnesses, reviewing the acts, written briefs and appeals. Respondents are fully represented too.

Faithful to the law, and to you
Honest assessments
I will tell you plainly what the law says, how strong your position looks, and what it will realistically take. No one can promise an outcome from a Church tribunal, and I won’t.
Respect for the Church
Advocacy in the Church serves justice and the truth. I work respectfully with tribunals and authorities while insisting that your rights are fully honoured.
Deadlines in hand
Canonical time limits are short and often “peremptory”: once they pass, they cannot be extended. I track them so you don’t have to.
Plain language
Latin terms and canon numbers are my job, not yours. You’ll always understand where things stand and why.
Not sure which of these fits?
That’s what the free consultation is for. Tell me what’s happening and I’ll tell you what your options are.
