Colloquies
Dialogues, trialogues and other fanciful conversations
Imagined conversations between people who never met, or who met only in books. The arguments are put in their mouths with as much fidelity to their texts as I can manage; the conclusions are mine and theirs to disown. Nothing here is teaching, and none of it is on behalf of any tribunal, diocese or society I serve.

The Misbegotten Objection
Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, and a doctoral student who loves them both and is writing on what their pages did to women. The deformed male and the deliberative faculty without authority; “defective and misbegotten” as objection and as reply; the building that stood after the biology fell; what the Church kept and why she should say so; and what is to be done.
